Hi All,
Another day, another card! I really should be making wedding invites but this just came to me last night and I had to make it there and then. It's another Spellbinders card and I have used kraft cardstock again.
After pink, turquoise is definitely my next favourite colour. The turquoise colour on this card is from Coredinations cardstock. I stared with an 8x8 piece and attached to my card blank with double sided sticky tape. My main layer is kraft cardstock which I embossed with an Embossalicious embossing folder that I had inked with Versamark on the debossed side. I ran it through the Grand Calibur and then covered in white embossing powder before heating with my heat tool. I inked around the edge with Broken China Distress Ink from Tim Holtz. My ribbon is Creative Expressions Silky Crush in gold and Ribbon Kings sheer ribbon in turquoise.
I used the Spellbinders Grand Decorative Ovals for my base topper and inked again with the DI. The pearls, from Creative Expressions, were all in one but I cut in half and then added on top. I used the Spellbinders Standard Ovals Large in Coredinations and kraft for the next layers and stamped the same Thank You sentiment stamp in Broken China again.
I hope you have lovely plans for the weekend. I'm sure it'll be Monday before we know it!
Happy crafting,

Fab'n'Funky Challenge #117 - Lace and Pearls
There were certainly plenty of animal lovers for our last challenge. All the paws were out! Wendy had the hard job of picking her top three so check out the Fab'n'Funky Challenges blog to see if you've been chosen. We also have a £10 Lili of the Valley gift voucher winner, picked at random. Don't forget to pick up your winners badges.
Now let's focus on our next challenge and the lovely Pat has chosen a girly theme this week...
The DT were given some fantastic images to play with from the Digi Doodle Shop and whilst I haven't made a card, I have tried my hand at making a wall hanging.
This time I used the Grass Promarker to colour my lace and also added it to the perfume bottle. I bought the lace from my local craft shop a while ago because I didn't have any in my ribbon box. I've used nearly all of it on this project so I think another trip to the shop is in order!

Lace and Pearls
The DT were given some fantastic images to play with from the Digi Doodle Shop and whilst I haven't made a card, I have tried my hand at making a wall hanging.
I chose the Perfume From Paris Set 1 as it was really versatile and I liked that the bottles were all so different. I used Spellbinders Grand Labels Twenty Three for the base shape and layers. The digis were all coloured with Promarkers in the following colours:
Fuchsia Pink
Blossom
Grass
Forest Green
Cornflower
Cinnamon
I used Spellbinders Grand Rectangles to cut an aperature in the centre of the Labels Twenty Three shape. I coloured the lace with my Promarker in Blossom. The green pearls were from my stash and originally came free with something I bought from Create and Craft. Bargain!
This time I used the Grass Promarker to colour my lace and also added it to the perfume bottle. I bought the lace from my local craft shop a while ago because I didn't have any in my ribbon box. I've used nearly all of it on this project so I think another trip to the shop is in order!
I cut the pink layer in four with my guillotine for this section. The sentitment is from Lili of the Valley and I added some of the coloured in lace with my extra thin super sticky red line tape. Every layer has been attached with mounting foam. I also used the red line tape to attach the panels to the lace and then backed with another panel of the same size.
The perfume bottles all have a touch of the MCS glitter and I added this with my Quickie Glue Pen. I had been storing my pen with the nib facing down but this made the glue run out into the lid. I've made sure they are all the right way up now! The papers were from Pink Petticoat and came free with a crafty magazine a while back.
I would like to enter this project into the following challenges:
